Starting with just a single red truck, ANDY has grown from a small family business into one of North America’s Top 250 largest fleets and one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies. Celebrating over 20 years in business, ANDY transitioned to second-generation leadership under President & CEO Andreea Crisan. Today, it stands as one of the continent’s largest women-owned transportation companies. Recognizing the significance of this achievement, Keren Dudescu-Besner, Director of Marketing and Communications at ANDY noted, "After 20 years, it was time to highlight ANDY." On set, the Marrone Films team—Rick, Luc, Masa, Alvaro and Pete—was prepared for anything. Dudescu-Besner notes how the crew swiftly adapted to challenges, capturing not only what was required but exceeding expectations. Safety was a top priority, especially when working with large trucks and in warehouses. Rick emphasized, "Coordination was crucial; we had to ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time, keeping safety in mind while getting the shots we needed." The team used walkie-talkies, safety vests, and traffic cones to ensure the production remained safe and controlled, even when multiple takes were necessary.
After four days of filming there was a substantial amount of content to assemble. The foundation of the edit was scripted around Andreea’s interview which was used as the narration. Rick emphasized “Working closely with Keren to ensure that the video was on brand and the message was clear, we maximized its potential as both a promotional video and a sales tool.”
The outcome was impressive. The team at ANDY couldn’t have been more pleased with Marrone Films’ work. The promotional video greatly enhanced ANDY’s visibility across social media and industry events. In addition, the abundance of video content created provided the ANDY marketing team with valuable resources to post throughout the year. Dudescu-Besner added, "The video has increased our brand awareness, generated new opportunities, and earned industry praise, giving us exposure we didn’t have before.
